Sam_Brown Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 I've added some new staff members as users on SIMS. They were already on, just needed to make them actual users and give them a username and password etc. Anyway I did the first 10 or so and then on the 11th I get the follow error when I try to change the username to match the one we use in AD. The EXECUTE permission was denied on the object "db_pix_droplogin", database "sims", schema "SIMS". Has anyone encountered this before and if so what did you do to rectify it? It's also stopped me from being able to change any other ones as well. Including the ones I've already changed. I'll give Crapita a call in the morning but thought I'd ask on here first.
matt40k Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 Are you on Summer (7.140)? If so, check your user is a member of System Manager group - there is a KB - I know there is as I was looking at it today - I did get a slightly different message and they've created a KB. I did poke the sysman7 people too as although they where a member of a custom group with full permissions, it didn't work.
Sam_Brown Posted August 2, 2011 Author Posted August 2, 2011 Yup. Member of the System Manager Group. Going to give them a call.
