Can I clear the log files from Exchange?

Hi All, I have a massive quantity of log files gobbling up buckets of space. Is it okay to remove these and just leave the current last months?

Back them up and move them to another server/ storage

That got me thinking, the log files should not build up, they should be cleared as each day is backed up so have checked the backup........bingo, job done, thanks for the pointer ;-)
