machin05 Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 Hey folks. I need some AV gurus to answer a question for me... We've secured a great deal on some new Lenovo A320 Idea Centre PCs that we're installing in a couple of classrooms over the summer. One drawback is that they only have HDMI output for video. This isn't a problem in one room as we've just installed a new Casio LED projector with HDMI input. However, in the other room we have a Toshiba projector with only VGA input. Would something like this work? Or will I need a "proper" converter like this? A middle ground option could be something like this but it appears to be converting the wrong way (VGA to HDMI) - does this matter? Cheers in advance, Will

Will EDIT: Although, by the looks of it, I'll need a DVI to HDMI cable as that converter appears to have DVI and VGA connections on it. Edited July 18, 2011 by machin05
machin05 Posted July 19, 2011 Author Posted July 19, 2011 Looks like this will do it without the need for extra cables - HDFury Gamer Edition HD Fury (PS3 VGA Cable) - #JMartdigital Funny how certain items are just a nightmare to find!
plexer Posted July 19, 2011 Posted July 19, 2011 Yes there was an amazon link to that as well from the second page I linked but as it said PS3 I didn't look at it. Ben
