reggiep Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 We run fog 0.29 on ubuntu but are trialling 0.31 on centos. Once logged in to the web interface everything seems fin BUT the initial log in time is in excess of 60 seconds. Can anyone suggest what might be causing this initial time issue? Thanks
Eric Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 This is only a suggestion. Sometimes web servers are set up so that they will try to do a reverse, then a forward, DNS lookup on the client (your log in time.) If you don't have DNS set up to support this, then the delay can be as long as you describe.
morganw Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 Have you got your proxy details in the fog settings? The front page tries to connect to the internet to display the latest version number and estimated users.
