TechSupp Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 Ours pupils have redirected My Documents, a global desktop, mapped drives and run a mandatory default profile, our staff have the same except for the global desktop and run a roaming profile. The question is can I tun off the synchronise offline files on the GPO without causing problems as some PC's seem top have it turned on and some not. Do I just turn it off in GPO, gpupdate and job done or do I have to visit each PC? Noticed on here someone said about turning it off for mapped drives but would that not be covered by the GPO setting or do I need to do something else as well? A nice Thursday problem to start off with :-( (~6 more getups to go)
sted Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 just turn it off on the pc policy that way it wont work and if you everr need it to you can enable it on those pcs
