Change height of slideshow in theme?

Can someone tell me how I could change the height of the slideshow in the edumoodle theme?

I really like the theme but I think the graphice takes up too much space so wanted to drop it to about half the height.

I have tried altering both the header.html and the index.html with interesting results!
