Been posted already....as for invites I have 10 but the system is closed at the min. When it opens I will invite those that asked nicely.

I assume that this is like gmail's launch... They'll roll it out to everyone in a few months

essentially. When GMail first started in 2004, only a handful of people got invites, its the same again...google tend to pick the same people over and over for their beta testing (hence why I have done GMail, Google wave, google docs, google correlate etc). This is nothing more than another test, and most likely not a successful one. Some of the bug feedbacks are downright shocking...

I'm sat on the waiting list for access too ... it is a little surprising that, having spoken to a few others active on eSafety, they don't have early access either ... it is, as @nephilim has put it, going to the people they like to have as early adopters. I might drop a few folk a line on the safetynet mailing list to see how many on there have already got in. It might make for interesting statistics.
