nickbro Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 Hi all, coming in HAP+ v7, the my computer basic browser will be getting, the Upload control will be replaced with a HTML5 uploader, where you can drag a file into the window and watch it upload. Now it's not as pretty as silverlight, but since anyone with silverlight should be using the extended version, this shouldn't cause too many issues. Slowly, over the new couple of releases, and as browsers catch up, the extended versions features will be ported to HTML5 for the basic version. The my computer basic browser will also be getting some more AJAX features, so instead of /mycomputer/N/something/ it will be /mycomputer.aspx#N\something\, just need to get the back button working with that. Any thoughts on this, would be welcome
mattgrimley Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 That sounds great Nick. I'd love to see a simple (pretty) list mode for browsing on mobile resolutions: ^ Up a Level > Folder 1 > Folder 2 > Folder 3 - File 1 - File 2 Admittedly not the most important request in the world, but thought i'd drop it in there while you are talking about HTML 5
nickbro Posted June 29, 2011 Author Posted June 29, 2011 I'll add it to the list, just a case of making a CSS file to do the transforms
