DIV Games Studio / DIV Arena

I stumbled across a website on my luch break (Boolean Soup - News) that has a few old members from DIV Arena, and I got to thinking, as this is a community made up of mainly geeks, there might be some members here.

 

So - was anyone a member of DIV Arena? Anybody remember DIV Games Studio?

 

I'd love to have a gander at my old games, they were all lost about 6 hard drives ago though

Hi! Nice to meet somebody who remembers this! So, how are you? Been doing much games programming since DIV? I got in to Fenix for a while, even wrote an IDE for it (complete with FPG editor!) but ended up moving on in to software design... haven't designed a game in years!

For many years I abandoned game programming. It was never my profession or intention to be, I am a H/W engineer.

 

I tied a bit with Flash, Java, but didn't just connect to them.

 

Lately I am using Unity 3D and feeling with it a bit as I felt with DIV's IDE

I remember DIV-ARENA, so much I resurrected it!

 

I even ported DIV2 to modern platforms so that the next generaton can continue to enjoy it. You may even find some of your old games up there.
