Upgrading Filemaker

Apologies - this isn't related to my school-based work.

Does anyone have any expertise/knowledge of FileMaker?

A friend of mine runs a market research company and has all her data stored in FileMaker 6. She has recently bought a new computer running Windows 7 and discovered that she can't run FM6. She's now bought FM11, which doesn't appear to be backwards compatible. She needs to know what she has to do to get her data up and running in the new version. I'm familiar with Access, (and SIMS!) but have never used FM so I don't know what to advise.

I don't get the impression that FileMaker support have been very helpful.

Looks like you need to run a conversion process on the database to upgrade it FileMaker Pro and Server 11 - Upgrading From Earlier Versions (Hermes)

It depends on whether it is a multiuser DB as to how easy it is to upgrade.
