tben2505 Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 Greetings folks Don't think you can do this but just checking first - is it possible to change the "Type" of an aspect, eg from Integer to Decimal? Cheers, Tom
vikpaw Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 Nope, not even if you haven't used it yet. Just create a new one. If you have used it, it would be difficult to change anyway as the data stored would become invalid, even though you are just asking for it to add a ".0" after everything. You can change gradesets on a grade aspect, that's about as flexible as it gets.
Anjelica Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 There is a fix but it really depends how much data is already there. You could make a new marksheet with a new aspect and the old aspect in it. Use the "All Year Groups" filter then, in the new Marksheet copy the data in the old column to the new one. You could then delete the old aspect. If it won't let you do that you could export the Marksheet and copy and paste the data in Excel (adding the .00) Sorry if that hasn't been explained very well but it is possible to "update" your data so that you can more forwards 1
