RabbieBurns Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 Just having a play with our new SAN, and im looking at Cluster Shared Volumes. Ive got all the LUNs available to both servers, and Ive added them as cluster storage. Problem is, cluster share volumes has added them just as "Cluster Disk 1" etc and I Cant seem to figure out which of the Cluster Disks correspond to the actual LUNs. Im trying to rename these Cluster Disk 1 -10 to something else, but the only thing I Can see is the size. Which isnt much use as I cant tell which LUN its from, which means I dont know if its SATA SAS or SSD. Is there any way to match the Cluster Disks to the disks in Disk Management?

SYNACK Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 How about you just go in to the SAN and deallocate one at a time to see which one dissapears that way you will be able to identify them. Kind of like the old eject the CD tray trick to find which server you are logged into on unknowen systems. 1
