woody Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 We've just received a hotfix for an XP problem where a 'group policy client side extention IP security failed to execute'. The hotfix contained an exe but also contained a PDB file, the same name as the dll that we need to replace. Now I presume when you run the exe, that replaces the dll file. But how do I use the PDB file? Can this be scripted?
woody Posted March 14, 2007 Author Posted March 14, 2007 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/121366 In English? :? I did find this article before, but I've no experience in C++ and I still don't know how to use the file.
woody Posted March 14, 2007 Author Posted March 14, 2007 It's a debug symbol file. You don't need it. Thanks Geoff! THAT was the answer I was looking for Thanks also to Plexer. Sorry I'm a bit dumb when it comes to things like this!
