linkazoid Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 Hi, Another cheeky request for a msi fix please. We have a problem with CS5 and it fails to launch on some clients due to a problem with Adobe updates. Adobe have a fix which requires copying a dll to the following locations: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe After Effects CS5 C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Bridge CS5 C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Device Central CS5 C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CS5 C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Encore CS5 C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Fireworks CS5 C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Flash CS5 C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe InDesign CS5 C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Media Encoder CS5 C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe OnLocation CS5 C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS5 C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Soundbooth CS5 C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Contribute CS5\App C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator CS5\Support Files\Contents\Windows I have attached the file that needs to be replaced in each folder. Would someone be able create an msi for me. Thanks in Advance, Michaelupdaternotifications.zip
plexer Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 What Server and Client OS are you using? You could do it with Group Policy Preferences. Ben
plexer Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 Alternatively a batch file which does it would be simple to make. Ben
linkazoid Posted May 10, 2011 Author Posted May 10, 2011 Ah didn't think about using GPP. It would be nice to have an MSI though so that I can use it in my other schools if needed.
linkazoid Posted May 18, 2011 Author Posted May 18, 2011 Is anyone able to create this msi for me? This problem keeps rearing its head here.
