yerttle Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 Hello, Is there a way to add the OpenOffice Clip art as part of the standard clip art search in office 2003. I tried adding the XML file but it errors
CyberNerd Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 OpenClipart is in a standards based Scalable Vector Graphics format, I think MS decided not to support this standard with Office- can someone confirm this? Certainly OpenOffice does support OpenClipart or maybe you can convert the SVG's to something MSOffice can understand.
Geoff Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 OpenClipart is in a standards based Scalable Vector Graphics format, I think MS decided not to support this standard with Office- can someone confirm this? This is correct. It can only cope with WMF/BMP/JPEG/etc. Certainly OpenOffice does support OpenClipart or maybe you can convert the SVG's to something MSOffice can understand. Imagemagick springs to mind. http://www.imagemagick.org/script/index.php
