jamesmay Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 Just reimaged all our machines and rebuilt our server and domain. Before we had a stable environment with Abtutor and sophos AV. No everything seems to have issues. our machines arent pingable from other machines although they are working fine on the network. in trying to get abtutor up and running again, I've played with the GPO and firewall settings and uninstalled sophos to see if it causing a problem but still no luck. any advice?
DJ-Jonesy Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 (edited) If i remember rightly its to do with the IP of the newly imaged machines, they have to be the same as the ones before when they were connected with ABTutor. you could try renewing all the IP address on the clients Edited May 5, 2011 by DJ-Jonesy
jamesmay Posted May 5, 2011 Author Posted May 5, 2011 everything has been reinstalled from scratch, and the non server pcs cannot be pinged but they can ping the servers
jamesmay Posted May 5, 2011 Author Posted May 5, 2011 got rid of the group policy so firewall is back on then allowed abtutor and now it works.... but i just want to turn the firewall off by gpo and not make the change on every machine
