I have seen thread suggesting, somewhat similar content but these GIFs do not 'go all out' to suggest a 3-D experience to the viewer [nor do they seem to carry the risk of inducing a headache!]

Do any digital picture frames show animated GIFs? Do any high-street portrait photographers specislise in doing photos similar to the above? Just imaganing Harry Pootter-esque photos where you record a short video loop of people waving and smiling instead of just taking a photo...

I helped an artist friend do something a bit like that with iPads for an installation at an exhibition but he did have rather a lot of someone else's money to spend doing it.

I wonder what happened to all those assorted tablets that were floating around before Christmas? Next can't have sold many of theirs, I just wonder if there's a couple of cargo-container loads kicking around not being used somewhere. They might be useless as general-purpose devices, but might be just the thing as cheap one-off, single-function devices.
