Is it just me who puts up with this?

I regularly go into the kitchen to find electrical items such as toasters and kettles standing in pools of water. Is this common or is it just that my wife is trying to claim on my life insurance? Edited April 24, 2011 by tech_guy

My kettle does, but it has a slight leak and has done for at least the last 3 years, still works thou.

@tech_guy check for RCD's on the kitchen circuits... That would put a fly in insurance plans...
