No Desktop showing up!!!!

Hi guys,

 

Jut logged on this morning and I don't have anything on my desktop! It's all gone missing. Wallpaper is the same and if I naviagate to my profile my desktop is in there fine but the actual deskop on my screen... empty and i can't move things to it nor create new files on it using right hand click.

 

Any ideas?

What happens if you do the following

 

Right Click Desktop > View > Show Desktop Icons

Well there you go... sorted. Why it disappeared in the first place I've no idea!
