tech_guy Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 We have a large number of these on-site and they are out of warranty now :-( The stylus seem to develop a problem where they die after about a couple of years. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Had a look at the gubbins inside and can't see anything that looks like it's fried itself. It's definitely the stylus - the tablets continue to work okay with another stylus.
SYNACK Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 If the styluses don't take batteries then they rely of electromagnet inductance so I would say that the coils inside or the electrical continuity of the pressure sersor are possibly damaged.
