[sccm 2007] Windows PE error

Hello

 

Having a problem with I think my boot images on sccm.

 

I get this error

 

Windows PE cannot start because the actual SYSTEM ROOT*directory (x:\windows) is differrent from the configured one (x:\$windows.~bt\windows). This can be configured from dism.exe with the /set-target path command. please refer the documentation for more details"

 

I have tried a boot.wim from a windows 7 disk and gives me the same problem

 

Not sure what else to look for but it is doing my nut in.

Try to use another boot image from another DVD.

 

Hs this ever worked or is this the first time?

 

Try to create a new boot images and not one copied from the CD. Use WAIK to create.

re doing the boot images using a windows 7 CD instead of using the the sccm default ones
