Chrisn Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 Can anyone help me with Successmaker reporting. Everytime I run them, they insist on my printer using page not A4 and there seems to be no way of changing it. Also is there anyway of changing which printer they go to rather than having to change the default printer before logging in again :?
Midget Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 I use a script which will map the successmaker directory, map the successmaker printer manager printer as default, and then run SuccessMaker. Once SuccessMaker is closed the printer and sme dir are unmapped.
Chrisn Posted March 9, 2007 Author Posted March 9, 2007 Did that solve the problem of it asking for letter size paper rather than A4?
Midget Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 since doing so i've never been approached with a prob reguarding it so i assume so
Chrisn Posted March 19, 2007 Author Posted March 19, 2007 Cheers Midget, I know its a bit cheeky, but any chance of seeing a copy of your script, that I might be able to tailor to our site? Regards Chrisn

Regards Chrisn SME.bat rem @echo off c: cd c:\windows\system32 NET USE m: \\WIN2KSRV\sme /persistent:no START \\MyServer\SMlas m: cd ResultsManager\SuccessMaker\bin LOGIN.EXE C:\ResultsManager\SuccessMaker\Launch.txt WScript removeprinter.vbs c: cd c:\windows\system32 NET USE m: /DELETE removeprinter.vbs Option Explicit DIM WSHNetwork, SMLas Set WSHNetwork = CreateObject("WScript.Network") SMLas="\\MyServer\SMLas" WshNetwork.RemovePrinterConnection SMLas, true, true Completely uncommented because I'm lazy and didn't see the point on such a short script. Apparently there are ways to remove a printer in a bat script but calling a vbs works just as well.
Chrisn Posted March 21, 2007 Author Posted March 21, 2007 Thanks Midget, You are a star Regards Chrisn
