Hi,

 

I am an apprentice IT Technician at Dene Magna School, Gloucestershire. I have almost completed an NVQ Level 2 for IT Practitioners. I will then be progressing to the NVQ Level 3 for IT Practitioners and also an Advanced Diploma in IT for Practitioners.

 

I would also like to do the Comptia A+. But .... my question is ... is there an easy way in which this can be self taught? ....

Yes there are, but it all boils down to what you would consider as easy (what is easy for one, doesn't mean easy for another).

 

You can get CBT's from CBTNuggets, get the Mike Meyers AiO book, get practice exams & audio training (from Preplogic for example), use sites like Professor Messor, etc...

 

Then when you're ready get yourself the exam vouchers and take your exam.

Also since you're in education, take a look at doing the FITS: Practitioner course and exam.
