The starting salary will be from £15,001 up to £16,696 on Grade C, depending on qualifications and experience.

 

Academic Services wishes to recruit a Network Technician to provide support for the University's core wired and wireless networks, which include data, voice over IP, wireless and network security systems. Previous experience of working in an IT network environment would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided. This post is available immediately.

 

Once trained, the successful candidate will be capable of providing technical knowledge of networking, diagnostic support and advice, as well as hands-on technical work. The post holder must be able to pay meticulous attention to detail and have excellent communication skills.
