Would anyone who has got Clickview Library Access Manager to link to Active Directory be willing to share their connection settings with me?

For some reason mine really doesn`t want to connect to AD, it may be that its being hammered with file uploads etc at the moment.

Will have a good look at it over the weekend, but of course Clickview tech support will not be around till monday.

It turned out that I needed LDAP host LDAP://qegs-1.queenelizabeths.derbyshire.sch.uk:389/DC=queenelizabeths,DC=derbyshire,DC=sch,DC=uk

and user cn=, cn=Users, dc=queenelizabeths, dc=derbyshire, dc=sch, dc=uk

Just in case it helps anyone else.

I would also like to publicly thank Clickview support for contacting me having read my first post to ensure I had solved the issue. Now that's support.

Thanks Joe.

Hi RobK,

How are you getting along with the settings for CVM? I would be interested in how you are managing the new CV groups with your existing groups?

What I did was created a new top level folder for Staff only resources, and gave read access to staff, leaving everyone access to the main clickview library.

As I understand it access rights always inherit, so you can`t for example have a staff only sub folder under the main tree, but you can create as many top level folders as you want.
