A Simple Training software

This software allows a teacher to show her PC screen to all students PC. Teacher can teach using Powerpoint or any educational software. What the teacher see is on her screen is what the student will see.

 

There are 3 versions

Alabpresenter - only allows showing of PC desktop - Download Trial

AlabTraining - Shows teacher's webcam or external video input, audio, PC screen and Interactive text with student

 

The features are

1. Support very high resolution up to 1440 x 1024

2. Very simple to use

3. Students can ask questions in interactive text without disturbing Teacher's presentation

Seems to be more aimed at online meetings rather than virtual teacher style deployments especially with the nees for the client to download something to join in.

Alabtraining is meant for training purpose. I used it to train my collegues for our newly deployed Web based ERP system. It is particularly useful as my collegues are able to enter their questions without interrupting my training. It is only after I finished my live demonstration of ERP system/training, I simply pull out the questions and address them accordingly.

 

Alabpresenter, I believed is meant for online meeting, as it only shows desktop remotely.
