News forums in a course

Hi,

 

Is it possible to display the contents of a news forum for a particular course, as in the course itself (without using a block?), much like the site news. So far I think it is impossible, but is there a module or plugin which does the same thing?

Assuming this is Moodle, the only way is to use the 'Social' course format.

In 2.0 you can have centralised blocks which could display Latest News similar to the frontpage.
