jonnykewell1 Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 We are about to roll out office 2010 to our school, but a few of the older teachers dont like change, so what we have is a small program "office menu 2010" that reverts the menu systems back to 2003 style. Is there a way to inslude this in the deployment of 2010? I know in OCT you can add certain things like exe bat and other rules but when i added this .exe it didnt work. Any ideas would be appreciated Jonny
GREED Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 I am sure someone can help on this. My question is isn't this a bit counter-productive? The staff should be offered help to learn the new way, not reverting the view back to an old version for the sake of 'a few'. Everyone will run into the differences very soon when 2007 or 2010 comes around for all, or have it at home. Is there the intention to always make Office look like 2003? We have had 2 versions now with the ribbon.
jonnykewell1 Posted January 7, 2011 Author Posted January 7, 2011 Yeah i know what you mean, if it was up to me id say balls to them learn how to use it, but its the headmaster he isnt one for confrontation he would just rather keep everyone happy lol.

I completely understand. Might be worth having a chat explaining the issues that the school WILL face in the future with this way or working. Out of interest, what is the software???
