I have two Netgear GS724TS switched stacked. They have 3.x firmware version. Problem started month ago when packet started to drop in average of 1-5%.

What can cause that issue? Switches are almost new, 5 months old.

thanks in advance

I doubt that your problem relates to the switches,

You have had them for 5 months and the issue has only arisen recently which logically would point to the problem arising from one of your nodes connected to the 48 ports..

The fact however that you have configured them in a stack means they will act and respond as a single switch.

If therefore you have trouble with a single attached node this could affect the entire stack.

Check for excessive errors, broadcasts etc in the switch diagnostics to try and identify possible node issues.

Are these stacked using front stacking ports or dedicated ports/cables?

Where are they positioned in your topology?

These should be used at the edge servicing your end devices.

Current firmware is V5.x, have you made ANY recent network changes at all?

A new addition of any sort can throw the most docile network into a frenzy.

Recently had a network that started to blackout the core stack of 5 Ciscos several times a day the NM could find nothing wrong and was at his wits end with complaints from the SMT

The Usual questions asked "have you made ANY addItions or changes recently" No he said definitely not....

5 minutes later I picked up on the scope a new Lexmark with a static IP and wrong subnet mask....

How long has the Lexmark been here? I asked.;)

His expression changed and the colour drained from his face....

Who installed the Lexmark he shouted at his team...

No more blackouts since the mask was set correctly.

So, always retrace your recent network changes first before assuming it's a hardware fault. It's hard sometimes to accept that we make mistakes but in my experience we find more human errors than hardware!

I know someone who has been dealing with a stack issue with some new cisco kit, was dropping packets all over the place, turned out to be a bug in the software, updated to the latest IOS and solved the problem
