Reconfiguring Dansguardian / Squid for new domain

We are scrapping our old domain and scratch building a new one.

 

Squid is currently integrated with AD and transparently authorises users with their AD credentials.

 

How do I reconfigure squid / Dansguardian so that it will recognise the new domain credentials, usernames will be the same, it's just the domain part that will be different.

 

A guide anyone?

You need to change the krb5.conf (realm/kdc/admin server) and smb.conf (realm/password server/workgroup) with the new domain info.

Resolv.conf will need the dns servers/search domain changing too.

Then you can re-add your server to AD.

 

I may have missed something... but thats where you'd start. Squid shouldn't need reconfiguring iirc.
