Citrix License service crashes when logged out

I'm running a Citrix Presentation Server 4.5 (with latest service pack and Web Interface 5.2) and License server 11.6.1 - all working fine.

 

However I have an issue when you log out of the server (from the server itself,not RDP) and wait a few minutes the Citrix Licensing service crashes,and logs the event 7034 'The Citrix Licensing service has terminated unexpectedly'

 

Login and restart the service and it will work for as long as you remain logged in - logout and it crashes again. I can't find any other errors either.

 

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the licensing-but its still the same.

 

Any ideas what might cause this? It didn't happen before I upgraded the license server but I upgraded that when I installed the service pack and latest Web Interface

Update - found a page on Citrix saying "the underlying cause is unknown" so I guess this is a known bug after all.
