Software Restriction Policy Designated File Types.

I have recently set up a software restricting poicy to stock students running bat files and other file types from the shared drive. I have recently turned the block on txt files off on the server as data files are needed for access databases. The problem i am having is that even thoe i now removed txt files from the block list, it is still blocking them when a pupil logs in.
