meastaugh1 Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 Is it possible to embed live streamed BBC News (or failing that, some other news) in Xibo with subtitles? Having searched the forums, I understand that the embedding BBC news bit shouldn't be a problem, but I can't seem to find anything with subtitles. Will I need receive a signal using a TV tuner in order to get the subtitles? Thanks
sister_annex Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 I don't think the simulcast will do subtitles, you will have to have a TV tuner I suspect.
phughes Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 Any luck? Did you get a TV tuner? I'm having exactly the same issue, any advice? Cheers, Pete
meastaugh1 Posted September 20, 2011 Author Posted September 20, 2011 I went with a OneLan solution in the end (with TV tuner). Expensive and works well.
phughes Posted September 22, 2011 Posted September 22, 2011 Pardon the rudeness. But may i ask a ballpark figure for your OneLan solution, so i can tell SLT and they can scrap the idea. We only have 4 Monitors around school. Thanks, Pete
meastaugh1 Posted September 22, 2011 Author Posted September 22, 2011 We didn't get it from them, but RM resell OneLan to give you an idea of list prices:OneLan NTB625-P - Net Top Box (with TV card) 1
