Does anyone know of a moniter which includes a USB hub and a USB soundcard as such a device would be fantastic for MPS.

At the moment we are looking at moniters with builtin USB hubs and speakers but the speakers are driven by an audio lead which is another cable and another bit of hardware to keep track of.

Alternatively you could get usb headsets which have the usb sound card built into them or just a usb sound card such as the lindy one and plug that into the monitors usb hub.

I have a logitech usb headset working with MPS2011.

We have a multipoint machine setup in our library with monitors with built in hubs. It's a test rig to see if we want to buy more. We've been having some problems with it and i think its mainly caused by these hubs.

When the students turn the monitors off it disconnects the hubs. This seems fine if it's just one or two and not too often but when more then a few get turned on or off at the same time the assossciate stations causes srcshell.exe to crash and the system needs rebooting.

I can't bee 100% this is the cause untill we've tested some discrete hubs. Has anyone else had this problem or similar?
