Cools Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 just befor this halfterm holiday my windows 7 Laptop came up with a new error msg.. "Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service." i only get it when i access a 2003 server and Samba keeps asking for a password. every thing was fine just befor this halfterm but im not the only one having this problem the other windows 7 laptop we have has the same problem. the servers have not been touched for months.. any one had this problem b4?? thanks.
ricki Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 Hi Have a look at the virtual memory on the laptop and try setting it to a custom size to 4000mb for both reboot and try again. I am guessing on the size. If it does not fix it put it back to the computer managing it. Richard

But my 2008 servers are now showing the same problem any thing 2008/Win7.. cant access 2003 Server share. But the the 2003 Server can access the shares on win 7 and 2008 server.. it seems to be a one way acceess..
