Can I give a copy to all our staff students based on this:

 

2.3 Server Use. You may install the Permitted Number of copies of the Software on the Permitted Number of Computer file server(s) within your Internal Network only for use of the Software initiated by an individual through commands, data or instructions (e.g., scripts) from a Computer within the same Internal Network. The total number of users (not the concurrent number of users) permitted to use the Software on such Computer file server(s) may not exceed the Permitted Number. No other network installation or access (either directly or through commands, data or instructions) is permitted, including, but not limited to: (i) from or to a Computer not part of your Internal Network, (ii) for enabling web hosted workgroups or services available to the public, (iii) by any individual or entity to use, download, copy or otherwise benefit from the functionality of the Software unless licensed to do so by Adobe, (iv) as a component of a system, workflow or service accessible by more than the Permitted Number of users, or (v) for operations not initiated by an individual user (e.g., high-volume automated server processing of wire feed content); and

 

2.4 Portable or Home Computer Use. Subject to the important restrictions set forth in Section 2.5 below, the primary user of the Computer on which the Software is installed (“Primary User”) may install a second copy of the Software for his or her exclusive use on either a portable Computer or a Computer located at his or her home, provided that the Software on the portable or home Computer is not used at the same time as the Software on the primary Computer. You may be required to contact Adobe in order to make a second copy.

 

2.5 Restrictions on Secondary Use by Volume Licensees. If the Software was obtained under an Adobe volume license program (currently known as Adobe Open Options) by any licensee other than an educational volume licensee, the second copy of the Software made under Section 2.4 must be used solely for the benefit and business of that volume licensee. Do you have the paper license? The CS4 one we have is a site license, but also limited to 500 machines and only allows for 50 staff home use so it's worth checking, assuming it came with a licensing booklet.

Check what license the software has been sold to you under - that may be the standard license terms, but educational licensing sometimes differs on account of the fact it's very heavily discounted by the likes of Adobe. Businesses pay hundreds of pounds per licence, even on a volume agreement, our CS4 license worked out at about £13 per machine for comparison, so the license terms are tighter.

Sorry just to check , have you got photoshop or Creative Suite, becuase i think Photoshop isnt available on a site licence.

Do K–12 School Site Licenses allow home use by teachers?

Yes. Each K–12 School Site License comes with an additional 25 or 50 teacher home-use rights licenses

depending on the license purchased. Software used at home by teachers must be used exclusively for

teaching purposes related to the teachers’ employment with the school (such as lesson planning, classroom

preparation, and so on).

Shaun has this right. Be very careful how you interpret the document you posted. This document refers to the software itself, and not to the end user licence agreement (EULA). The EULA varies with each type of licensing scheme (TLP, CLP, Volume or K12 Site licence) so you need to check which licence you purchased and read it very carefully. Your rights to make copies of the software and your rights to lawfully use the software are not the same thing. K12 500 user site licences do allow for 50 user licences on portable computers, and K12 250 user licences allow 25 instead. Can I install K–12 School Site License software on student computers not owned by the school?

No. K–12 School Site License software can be installed only on school-owned or school-leased computers. Students can purchase education versions of Creative Suite 5 through an Adobe Authorized Education Reseller.
