laserblazer Posted October 8, 2010 Posted October 8, 2010 Our HT wants a clock of some sort that can be seen from the playground. So ideally visible over 150-200m. I'll do some research but my main question is how big does it need to be?
creese Posted October 8, 2010 Posted October 8, 2010 Try a mock up. Start with A3 and work up, or down? 1
tech_guy Posted October 8, 2010 Posted October 8, 2010 We had this at my last place. My solution? We chopped a couple of trees down so that the students could see the clock on the local church.... 1
laserblazer Posted October 8, 2010 Author Posted October 8, 2010 Reminds me of the joke about the milk maid lifiting the cow's udders.
teejay Posted October 8, 2010 Posted October 8, 2010 About 2-3 metres diameter if you want them to read it accurately if my back of fag packet calculation are correct. Colour and contrast between the hands and the clockface can also make a difference.
