ajstan Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 So I was playing around with disk management, no real aim, was just exploring then managed to do an incredibly stupid thing http://img828.imageshack.us/img828/3113/57254520.jpg I extended disk1 to include disk0 so in my computer it showed up as one hard drive, this made both hard drives show up as purple in disk management. I then decided I wanted them to show up seperately again so I right clicked on disk0 and pressed delete volume and both disk0 and disk1 now show up as unallocated. I haven't formatted yet so I hope I can get my stuff back? Help pleaseeeee
maniac Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 I've used this before. PC Inspector FILE RECOVERY I believe it will re-instate deleted partitions, if not it will certainly recover the data. Mike.
ajstan Posted October 7, 2010 Author Posted October 7, 2010 Wow, quick reply Thanks, I'll give it a go
Dos_Box Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 I have to add. It takes a lot of 'playing around' to actually delete a partition!! You might also want to try Recuva as well (Recuva - Undelete, Unerase, File and Disk Recovery - Free Download) to recover files if need be.
