Java MSI Deployment - Takes ages to install

Hi,

 

I have noticed this on 3 seperate networks.

 

When you deploy Java via an MSI to clients on a network it takes ages to install.

 

Does anyone know why it takes so long? Does anyone know how to reduce the install time?

do you have an old version already installed i think 6 11/12/13 had issues with uninstalling you needed to disable the java quickstart service or it would just sit there forever trying to remove it and fail

Yes and no. Some this is a new install and others have older version on. In the end it does work but just takes ages to do it
