Timetable

Anyone know of or use a timetable that integrates with SIMS. A Nova-T Lite if you like.

 

It is for a Special school who have a small number of secondary age pupils who need a timetable, so Nova-t is not an option.

One wonders what the restrictions will be on utilising NT4 after support ceases in Spring 2011 ............

Would one still have to be 'licensed' by Capita ......?

You could use Keith Johnston's Timetabler which is able to import into SIMS, and they are an official Capita-SIMS Partner

 

The cost is £895 +VAT, which is much less than NovaT

 

Some of our schools use it, and they have had no problems in creating a timetable

There is an excellent open source timetable program called FET which will output to csv for input to other software.
