reggiep Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 Our Library Manager has been asked to start recording Teachers Tv then to selectivly put some of that on to DVD. So I guess he needs a combo HD/DVD freeview box? Can anyone suggest such a thing? Thanks
srochford Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 I've got a Sagem (Sagemcom Digital | Sagemcom Freeview dtr67320t Set Top Box Spec HD Digital TV Recorder) which will allow you to copy to a USB hard drive and then make a DVD but it's pretty slow at "exportation" Would a media centre PC work? If you've got a PC they can use then a USB tuner costs about £30 (eg Dual Tuner Digital TV USB Stick : External PCTV : Maplin) and if you've got Windows 7 Enterprise then you're licensed for Media Centre and it can record and burn the DVD.
