sacrej Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 Hi Guys, I've been transitioning out exchange 2003 server to a new 2010enterprise VM and i'm almost there - everything is done, but I cant seem to get the public folders to migrate and show up for users. the pf database exists on the new server but is only 16mb, I have done the move all replicants command from 2003 system manager and if I try to delete the pf database on 2010 it says I cant as it contains replicants. I've basically tried all manner of things as suggested on technet and not really got anywhere... a quick, easy - i'm new to powershell so you might need to explain well solution is what i'm after as I want to sign this VM off as complete so I can move onto Config manager *sigh* cheers! Jack
sacrej Posted August 16, 2010 Author Posted August 16, 2010 problem solved.... turns out the smtp connector on our 2003 server was using a smart host (RM MX), removed these settings and bam 1600messages flooding the queue on our 2010 server and a PF database file of 680mb wahoo
