Hyper-V R2 remote management

I'm having a little play with hyper-v R2. Installed ok and I have enabled remote management from the the configure remote management option.

 

I'm am using a Win7 Ultimate laptop with Hyper-V management tools install and when I try and connect to the server I am getting RPC service is unavailable on the server.

 

I'm hot, not had my morning coffee yet and having searched the net all I can find are references to Vista tools dating back to 2008

 

Anyone able to point me in the right direction.

Have you done a 'search for new roles' on the first page of the server manager to make sure that it has found the service and opened up the required firewall ports on your server?
