itunes U content

After seeing an article about the vast array of free educational content on itunes I thought I would have a look.

There are lots of podcasts you can download to itunes U e.g. Open University French - these are in MP3 format.

Not wanting to install itunes on all school PCs or being able to dish out ipods to students - I wondered about just copying these files over to a server and making them available.

However struggling to find copyright info - there is free content available from over 600 universities.

Anyone else looked into this or able shed light on restictions on use?
