RabbieBurns Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 What Im trying to do, is have mail that is sent to an existing mailbox in our exchange, to automatically be delivered not only to that recipient, but also to another. eg: mail sent to [email protected] comes to the rburns mail, but also gets sent to [email protected].. Is this possible to do to an existing mailbox?
clareq Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 Go to the properties on the [email protected] mailbox and select Mail Flow Settings. Highlight Delivery Options and click Properties. Tick the forward to box, browse to [email protected]. Tick the "Deliver message to both forwarding address and mailbox". Done. 1
RabbieBurns Posted June 30, 2010 Author Posted June 30, 2010 Cool thanks. So if i wanted to forward it to a non-domain email address I would created that address as a contact, and then do the sames?
clareq Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 Exactly. You can only put one address in the forward to field though, so you can't forward to more than one user, unless you create a mailing list, and forward to that 1
