Garageband 09 and Jam packs

Does anyone know if the Garageband 3 Jam packs work in the new version of Garageband (09?). I've tried googling but can't seem to find this anywhere

There are a couple of threads on the Apple Discussions site that say they work:

So I guess there shouldn't be a problem. From my understanding, Garageband will use older Jam Packs, but you can't use newer Jam Packs with older GarageBand versions.
