TechCAD for TEP

Is anyone using the TechCAD software with the TEP mini CNC machines?

We seem to have an issue with registraton

The original problem was that you would log on as one user and be asked for the registraton code but then when you logged in as another user it would ask for the code again - it's registering on a per-user basis

A partial solution to this was to put the registration details into a network.ini file, which works fine....as long as the user logged on has admin rights, a normal user gets the following error:

 

Cannot access CryptoAPI

Error creating DEFAULT cryptography key container - -2146893788

This software cannot be registered at present.

This problem is created by an out of date Windows system file.

To solve this problem install Internet Explorer (V4 or greater)!

 

Which is a little odd - the programme then locks up.

Has anyone else seen this?

sounds like it could be a permissions problem. do you know where the registration file is

 

i would login as a user and run REGMON and FILEMON.

 

is the anything support on there site?
