Can somone please confirm the amount of devices you can link to with mobile be, ive been told a max of 3 and then a max of 5 from somone else.

Just to through a spanner in the works I have mobile me, and thought it was 2!!!!

I thought it was as many authorised devices as you wanted. It is the service you are paying for not a client license.

I have it linked on at least 4 ... but pretty sure I had it on another machine until recently too.

 

iTunes is restricted to 5 machines which can play your purchased / locked content (unless it is DRM free).

Thanks for the replies, i ended up contacting apple direct and heres what i was told

 

"There is not a limit, however, but as you add more devices to your account, there can sometimes be conflicts that can occur if multiple devices try to sync at the same time"

 

"Okay, the only thing I might suggest is only having one computer set to automatic syncing, and others set to manual. This can help prevent conflicts if two or more computers are trying to sync with MobileMe simultaneously."
