Office 2010 printing problems

Hi Guys,

 

got a problem with Office 2010 word and printing, when someone prints it misses some letters out of a document. it previews fine.

Is this just within Word 2010, have you tried printing from notepad or similar. Could this be a Driver problem, have you updated to the latest drivers for your printer?

HP printer by any chance?

 

If it is, I'd try using the Kyocera Driver Deleter to wipe the old drivers, reboot (as per the prompts) and then reinstall the driver from fresh...

 

It's not guaranteed to work by any means but it's something that's helped me with Publisher problems in the past so it's worth a shot.

Does the printer print correctly if you print from say notepad or wordpad? What about printing images?

Had a similiar problem printing out from Word 2010 and sometimes Notepad (When I was testing things) to a HP 4100, and found a fix that seems to work...

 

I found that turning the Advanced Printer Features off on the printer seemed to get it printing properly (Can be found under Printer Properties/Advanced/Advanced Printing Features). Had that off for over 3 weeks now and am still monitoring this printer, but all seems to be well with it now (Touching everything wooden and staking out a goat for sacrifice can't hurt either...).
