Information Systems Manager

Hi all,

Advice needed for the job decription of an Information Systems Manager ,Is the job description the same for a Network Manager ?

Single status stuff,i have been told that my job description will be that of an ict technician and an Information Systems Manager combined?

Hi,

 

I am Technical Services Manager at a School in Staffs and we have gone through the single status process. As far as I am aware the IS Manager is very similar to network manager. I'm guessing that IS manager is the same as Technical Services manager. Is it your School telling you that the roles will be merged or the Council?

Ok in short, I have been told that my current position as an Ict Technician will merge with Information Systems Manager ,i will be doing two jobs and getting the Information Systems Manager salary.

Information Systems Manager will do what an ict technician will do plus the other odds and sodds?
